Menu's and UI

So after downloading the 2.7~ Gigabytes that is Dota 2 I started playing some games. Generally the game funtions pretty well and the shop is reasonably well designed but the remained of the UI is kind of sketchy looking and kind of unfinished.

I am hoping that at some point they give the UI a bit more attention before the game goes live as I don't think that it is up to the standard that people might be expecting.

One benefit of the game is the ability to stream live and completed games. Especially because you do not need to trawl through countless replays that you are looking for. If you want a high level replay played by Trixi in the last week the search menus are easily completed and returning results rapidly. I think that this is one of the most important things for the community as so much can be learned from watching the replays of the competitive teams and individual players. Many people love the likes of Angrytestie and Moon from HoN so time will tell if such e-Celebs will surface in Dota 2.

Ok well back to grinding out a few more games before the weekend starts.

Finally got my Dota 2 Beta

I have finally gotten my beta invite to dota 2 and I couldn't be more stoked! I do still have my 2 gift invites and am still deciding who to give them to or to possibly give them away.

Going to put in a big grind over the next couple days that I have off and hopefully be able to give a quick reveiw about what i believe will be one of the biggest games in the PC games industry for next year.
